At the Huawei International ICT Conference held in the Chinese city of Shenzhen. Three Ethiopian students who participated in the finals were awarded.

Three students from Arba minch University and Addis Ababa University of Science and Technology participated in the computing track competition representing Ethiopia.

According to the Ministry of Education, Ethiopian students were able to share the third prize of the competition with Malaysia, Mexico and Kenya.

The competition was held from May 22 to 26, 2024 with the participation of students from all over the world in three race tracks (Innovation, Networking and Computing).
