In Tigray region,students will take the 12th grade leaving exam.

The presence of students who failed to take exams due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in the north increased the number of students sitting for exams in 2024, according to the state's Education Quality Assurance Agency.

As a result, the examiners will be divided into two categories, Code 01 and Code 07, the agency's director, Tadesse Kahsai (Dr.), told Arada FM.

He said that in the past, exams were given from October 10 to October 13 2016, but it was not possible to test them all, which is the reason for the increase in the number now.

2024 Leaving exam in TIGRAY will take place from July 9 2024 to July 19 2024.
