The fourth research journal published by the University of Gondar was recently accredited by the Ministry of Education.

The Ethiopian Journal of Business Management and Economics (EJBME), a research journal published by the university's College of Business and Economics, is among the 17 research journals accredited by the Ministry of Education in 2024.
Three of the research journals published by Gondar University, namely the Ethiopian Renaissance Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities (ERJSSH), the International Journal of Ethiopian Legal Studies (IJELS) and the Ethiopian Journal of Health and Biomedical Sciences (EJHBS), have received three-year accreditation by the Ministry of Education.
As a result, four research journals of the University of Gondar have been accredited by the Ministry of Education, including one recently accredited.
