The National Cohesion Council for Higher Education, Technical and Vocational Training, Research Institutes and Industries was established.

The Minister of Education, Berhanu Nega (PR), is also the chairman of the Connecticut Council.

The council is made up of 22 members from various associations, development organizations and other government institutions.
